About the event

Shri Vaishnav Institute of Textile Technology, SVVV, Indore every year organizes a National Conference “TEXCON” to bring together textile industry leaders, academicians and researchers in a common platform to contribute for the betterment of the textile fraternity. The 5 National Conference “TEXCON-2022” will give a better perspective to the current lingering pandemic situation where textile is working as the first line of defense for individual protection. Also, it will offer a common platform for the whole textile fraternity to retrospect and chalk down a sustainable line of action for the textile industry and humanity.

The Conference theme “CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES IN MEDICAL AND APPAREL TEXTILES” is focused on latest technological advancements and innovations in the field of medical textile and apparel sector through multi-disciplinary approach to combat the prolonged COVID-19 situation. The conference is aimed to identify and establish interdisciplinary ventures in the synthesis of new generation medical textiles and apparels with novel and enhanced functionality, sustainability and aesthetic values by holistic integration of research, technology and design.
